Catalina Terrace is a pool, tennis, and recreation facility located near the southwest corner of Tucson Boulevard & Fort Lowell Road, at 2440 E Hedrick Dr.  The facility was founded in 1961 and has a rich history of competitive swimming and family recreational activities to beat the infamous Tucson heat.   The facility features an 25 yard outdoor lap pool, a baby pool, restrooms with showers, a shaded deck area, a basketball hoop and tennis courts.

Since 2009, the pool has been managed by the CT Athletic Program, a 501c3 non-profit organization with a Youth Athletics focus.  The pool itself was completely renovated in 2016, and it still looks beautiful!  Generations of members and sponsors have continued to fund maintenance and needed upgrades to our facility, which has provided recreational opportunities for residents across many neighborhoods in north Tucson.

In addition, we have a competitive summer swim team (the Marlins) with over 140 swimmers ages 4-18 that swim 5 days a week from April through July. Our team practices 5 days a week from April through July and is part of the SAAA swimming organization, competing with other swim teams across the Tucson area.  If you want to find out more about the Marlins swim team, please click here to visit the Marlins swim team website.
