Our Catalina Terrace Marlins Swim Team is one of the few “neighborhood” swim teams remaining in central Tucson. As a 501c3 (non-profit) corporation, we rely on swim team fees, membership dues, corporate sponsors and our annual Swim-a-Thon fundraiser to finance capital repairs and improvement projects for our beloved pool and youth sports facility!

HOW DOES IT WORK?  Each swimmer can collect pledges from friends, family, and local businesses! Your swimmer can gather per lap or flat pledges, whichever is best for the donor. Swimmers will be organized into four different waves lasting one hour each. Parents and guardians will count laps (one lap = down and back) and then collect funds from donors following the event.

Turn in (both form and money) to our Swim-A-Thon Coordinator, Nadya Novak, who will arrange for a payment location on-deck at practices.

Last year with the help of local business prize donations, our swimmers raised $13,700, enabling the purchase of a new sound system, pool cover, and lane line cover, the completion of deck safety and electrical rewiring projects, and enabling us to close the pay gap for our swim coaches! Go Marlins!

This Year's Capital Project Goals:

● Replace Lane Lines (full kit)
● Begin fundraising for our future baby pool renovation
● Continue fundraising for landscape renewal 

The Marlins swim team is part of CT Athletic Program, Inc., a non-profit 501c3 corporation with a mission to support the swim team and promote youth athletics.

All Swim-A-Thon pledges are tax deductible as a donation on itemized returns.
